Traditional Ruling Planet of Pisces
Pisces is the twelfth sign of the zodiac. In classical astrology, Pisces is ruled by Jupiter. Jupiter is associated with expansion, luck, and higher learning. This gives traditional Pisces a philosophical and optimistic tone.
Modern Ruling Planet: Neptune
Modern astrology often assigns Neptune as the ruler of Pisces. Neptune is the planet of dreams, intuition, and the subconscious. It is linked to imagination, empathy, and spiritual awareness. Many astrologers consider Neptune the modern co-ruler of this water sign.
How Neptune Shapes Pisces Traits
Neptune is said to deepen Pisces sensitivity and creativity. People influenced by Neptune may be highly intuitive and drawn to art or healing. They can also be idealistic and compassionate. For more on planetary rulerships, see this guide.
