What Does a Star Mean on Find My Friends
A star next to a friend in Find My Friends indicates that the person has been starred or prioritized in your list. It helps you quickly identify key contacts without changing how their location is shared or updated.
How Starring Affects Location Sharing
Starring someone does not change their location permissions or frequency of updates. The friend still shares their location based on their own privacy settings. You can see the star in the app list, but it does not grant extra access or tracking features.
How to Add or Remove a Star
