Early Life and Family Home
Kate Middleton grew up in Berkshire, England. Her family lived in a large house in Bradfield Southend, near Reading. She spent much of her childhood there before attending boarding school.
University Years in St Andrews
Middleton moved to Fife, Scotland, to study art history at the University of St Andrews. She lived in shared student housing in the town of St Andrews, where she first met Prince William.
Royal Residences
After her marriage, Kate became part of the royal household. The couple has lived at Kensington Palace in London and later moved to Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor Estate. They also spend time at Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, a private royal retreat.
